Tell us about your career so far. What did you do before you came to Akubo?

“Before Akubo, I was a Junior Accountant in Jollibee. In 5 years of my career, I gleaned tons of useful knowledge and discovered countless abilities.”

What originally drew you to apply to Akubo?

“I found out from a friend that Akubo is hiring, and I like the offer – especially the possibility of working remotely. I was able to spend more time with my family because of it.”

What projects do you work on?

“I currently work on the Financial side of the company. Preparing monthly income and expenses reports, etc.”

How did you decide to be a Finance Manager?

“Being a finance manager fits with my course of study, and I enjoy handling accounting-related tasks like creating financial reports.”

What do you like about being a Finance Manager?

“I love analyzing and preparing yearly budgets.”

What’s the most rewarding part about being a Finance Manager?

“The most fulfilling aspect of being a finance manager is assisting the company in making decisions by delivering accurate reports.”

What do you look forward to learning?

“I’m still hoping to learn more about BIR related tasks to be specific.”

What things are you excited about in relation to finance work, or life in general?

“I’m eager to advance my career and, of course, accomplish all of my life’s objectives.”

What do you find most challenging about your work? How do you deal with it?

“The hardest aspect of my job is creating the annual budgets, but I make sure I have all the correct information in order to do it well.”

Who or what inspires you?

“My bad life choices motivate me to do better this time, and of course my family motivates me to accomplish all of my objectives.”

What are you passionate about outside of work?

“I would really like to travel and try hiking.”

What is your philosophy in life / motto / mantra?

“If there is a will, there is a way.”
