History

Born out of a need for a simple database by a Bacolod-based non-profit organization (Tapulanga Foundation), Akubo started as an in-house project in 2008 aiming to ease data organization and management.

In January 12,2011 Akubo was established as a 100% Filipino customer relationship management (CRM) company specifically designed for non-profit organizations (NGOs). Throughout the years, Akubo has grown from a simple CRM provider to a full-service “kubo” that makes data management easier not only for NGOs but also serving educational institutions, associations, and businesses in the Philippines and across the globe.
