De La Salle Philippines, founded in 2006, is a network of 16 Lasallian institutions in the country – headed by Br. Armin Luistro FSC and Sir Edgar Chua (CEO). Since 2013, DLSP has partnered with Akubo in growing their contact database and building donor connection with their Alumni.
It was during the COVID-19 pandemic that DLSP proved they aren’t just about academic excellence, but also for Social Welfare. Since March 2020, DLSP has been raising funds to support the front-liners
through their “#KADAUNO” campaign, which means “each one” or “bawat isa” in Filipino – an initiative to integrate the efforts of Lasallians and partner institutions to aid the most-vulnerable individuals during the COVID-19 fight.
As of April 14, DLSP has accommodated over 450 guests in 7 safe shelters for the homeless, built 6 safe shelters for health care workers, One safe shelter for quarantined OFWs, and mass production of medical tools and equipment! The organization is also providing FREE COVID-19 webinars and news portals to keep the public updated and informed.
