A. ADVANCED SEARCH AND SMART GROUP
Advanced Search
1. On the main page, click Advanced Search button.

2. You can use Advanced search for your contacts based on your custom fields, status fields, transactions, activity logs, cases and household members. You filter contacts based on 2 or more parameters at the same time.

3. You can save your Advanced Search as a Smart Group. When you save a smart group, you can recall the advanced search as a Group in Akubo. Access the group in View All Contacts -> Groups section.

Creating Opportunities from Contact Page
1. On the main page, click Contacts

2. In the contact window, click the Opportunity tab, then the Add an Ask button.

3. In the form, you can define the visibility, priority of the Opportunity you created and assign it to a particular person in your team.

Create Events
1. On the main page, click Others, click Events
2. Click Create Event

3. Enter event details.

4. Click Continue.
5. For events with Tickets, Fill up ticket options details.

6. Set the limit for the number of attendees or leave blank if none.

7. Complete the Registration Page details.

8. Set how you want to close out the events registration.

9. Guests can be invited, registered, removed, and transferred. Guest list can also be exported. You can also send them emails for a more detailed instructions. Click Manage Guests.

10. Promote your events by sharing the link to Facebook or Twitter or embed the event link to your newsletter.

Assign Tasks & Cases
Tasks
Use Tasks for yourself or for any of your staff (who also have Akubo accounts). You can mark each task’s status as New, In-Progress, Done or Deferred1. On the main page, click Others, then Tasks & Cases.
2. Click on New Task

3. Type in the details in the memo field. You can define the task’s visibility and priority, specify a due date, and assign it to someone else in your team

Cases
A Case is simply a task associated to a contact.
For example, you can create a case for a customer, John Smith, and track the progress of the case by marking it New, In-Progress, Done or Deferred.
1. On the main page, click Others, then Tasks & Cases.
2. On the Tasks & Cases page, click on the New Case button (If you’re creating or editing a contact, you can also go directly to the Cases tab instead).

3. Enter the necessary details. You need to assign the case to a contact, define the case’s visiblity, status, priority, and due date, and/or assign a team member to handle the case.

4. Click Save.
5. You can also get Email Alerts on cases. Select Settings on the top header, go to tab, then specify which email alert you want to receive.

Print Envelopes
Creating Envelopes from the Akubo main page
1. On the main page, click Others , then Envelopes.
2. Select the size of the envelope, the font style and font size along with the sender’s and recipient’s information from predefined groups or individuals

3. Click Create Envelopes.
Creating a Letter from the Akubo main page
1. On the main page, click Others , then Letters.
2. On the Letters page, click. New Letter.
3. Select the intended group recipients, then click Compose Letter

4. Enter the title for your letter and the content. Then click Create Letter

5. At this point, you can print or publish your letter in DOC or PDF format. To publish, click on the desired file type link. You also have the option to email your letter by clicking Email Letter.
